The River Alliance of Wisconsin, an environmental advocacy group based
in Madison, recently produced three videos featuring Wisconsin citizens
concerned about the proposed Back 40 Mine. The proposed open pit sulfide
mine is planned for the banks of the Menominee River near Stephenson in
Michigan`s Upper Peninsula. The river forms the border between
